This tutorial describes How to Setup Adobe Digital Editions 3.0.1 with Kobo eReader on Linux.

The reason for this new tutorial is because ADE 1.7.2 no longer works with downloading eBooks from the Library. Instead users encounter the error message:

IO Error on Network Request. Please check your network connection and try again. Error #2038.

The instructions cover removing all traces of ADE 1.7.2 and then installing ADE 3.0.1.
